AFGHAN URIAL
Afghan Urial habitat on flat and mountain region Khatlonskya district, (Tajikistan). Mountains in this region do not exceed 2,500m, but they very steep slope and hunters should be physically prepared. The hunting area located in 140 km from Dushanbe, capitals of Tajikistan. Hunters who want to hunts Markhor and wild boars have an opportunity to shot in the same area after obtain Urial. Skilled guides, the interpreter, the cook, skinner and helpers will assist hunters during hunting trip. The hunting groups consist of 2-3 hunters.
Getting There:
There is one basic access city served by western airlines- Dushanbe (Capital of Tajikistan). The preferable choice is traveling to Dushanbe, from Istanbul (Turkey).
There is no problem with transit of hunting rifles via Turkey. We meet you at the any airport of your arrival and assist through the customs. From Dushanbe 3-4 hours driving by car directly to the hunting camp.
Climate: Usually weather is not so cold during hunting season. Approximately the weather is about +3 Celsius in day time and at night about -2 Celsius, in fall hunting season the days are warmer, the temperature is about +2 +15 Celsius.
Hunting season: The season is from October 1 to mid-December, February and March.
Quality of hunters: 1 to 3 in the group
Camp & Accommodations: The hunting Camp is simple houses, or tents. Tents and houses equip with necessary comfort, power generator, Shower and rest room. The cooker and other service staff does everything possible to please our guest.
Hunting Method:
Hunting in normal conditions will be carried out basically on horses and sometimes on foot. All movements to hunting camp and hunting process will carry out by Russian jeep (4WD). The size of trophies expected by skilled hunters, vary between, 60-90 cm. Back pack hunting is available for hunting Urial. Every hunter will hunt in separate areas.

MARCO POLO ARGALI
Tajikistan offers the excellent Marco Polo Argali hunt. Over the last 12 years our hunters enjoyed 100% success. Average trophy size runs from 55 to 56 inches with several 60-62 inches rams taken every season. We have most experienced guides: two guides for each hunter. Some good hunting for Mid-Asian Ibex and Wolf can be included.
How to get there: The most convenient and reliable way to Dushanbe is by Turkish Airlines via Istanbul, Turkey. There are three flights a week serviced by 737 jets. We meet you in Dushanbe by VIP service and our crew assist you through the customs, then you take 45-minute flight to Khorog and from Khorog to hunting camp is 6 hour’s

Hunting: In the morning you get into your jeep. Horseback hunt is not available in Tajikistan. During the day you will explore the upper edges of the mountains, glassing the hillsides and feeding areas. Once the trophy is located you complete your stalking on foot. You hunt at 14,000 feet / 5,000 m. Physical condition is a factor on the stalking portion of the hunt. A long range shooting, up to 400-500 yards/m is usual for Marco Polo Argali hunt.
Base camp: In Tajikistan the camps are located at 12000 to 13500 feet. They are wooden structures. It is warm, clean and comfortable with separate areas for dining, bathing and sleeping and has electrical generation.
You will find good food and quality service. Every camp is equipped with a satellite-phone or radio station, and the first medical kit.
Weather: Usually, weather is favorable and rather predictable in this region during the hunting period. During daylight hours in November the temperature is from 30 Fahrenheit / 0 Celsius up to 50 F / 10 C and during nighttime from 14 F / -10 C up to 5 F / -15 C. Windy conditions.
Itinerary:
Day 1 : Arrival in Dushanbe, customs formalities, flight to Khorog
Day 2 : Arrival to the hunting camp, rest.
Day 3-9 : 7 day hunt
Day 10 : Return to Khorog and Dushanbe overnight.

BUKHARA MARKHOR
The Tajik or Heptner’s markhor is found only in two scattered populations in the Kugitang Mountains at the border between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan and in the Hazratishoh and Darvaz Ranges along the Panj River at the border between Tajikistan and Afghanistan. Thanks to the conservation efforts in community-based conservancies the population has recovered in recent years and during surveys increasing numbers of markhor were recorded by experts of the Academy of Sciences, government agencies in charge of wildlife conservation and national and international NGO representatives: in 2012 a total of 1018, in 2014 a total of 1300, in 2016 only in three conservancies 1450 and in 2017 a total 1901 among them a healthy percentage of mature males. The markhor are an important prey of snow leopard and several hunters already had the luck to observe this elusive cat during their trip!
When and Where?
The hunting season for markhor is defined by the Decree of the Government of Tajikistan and lasts from September until End February. The early winter provides good opportunities due to the rut season in December, while late winter provides favorable hunting conditions as markhor will concentrate in the lower parts of the mountains with the first green herbs and grasses. A ten-day-trip including eight hunting days is usually sufficient to achieve success. Shorter trips are also possible upon request!
The areas where markhor hunting is taking place are located in the south of
Tajikistan, in the provinces of Khatlon and Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous
Province (GBAO).
Whether:
During the hunting season in the region usually remains favorable, predictable
weather. The daytime temperature in October, the temperature is between 0 ° and 10 ° C, at night – 0 ° C. In November – January, from -5 ° to 5 ° C and at night from 0 ° to -5 ° C, windy.

MID ASIAN IBEX
Tajikistan destination for big game hunters seeking for Mid-Asian Ibex and the fabulous Marco Polo Argali. Mid-Asian Ibex is the largest Ibex in the world with the horn length up to 60 inches. Hunting place take in Rasht Region 6 -7 hours drive by Jeep to hunting area.

Hunting season
The season is from September 1 st to November 30 th Hunting Most Tajikistan hunting trips are based from horseback due to the immense amount of country to be covered for successful hunt. Expect extensive horseback riding 8-10 hours a day and considerable walking. Some knowledge and experience with horses and riding is a must. During the day you will explore the upper edges of the mountains, glassing the hillsides and feeding areas. A temporary tented camp is set up with the specific goal of hunting a particular animal or area. Rams are generally located in remote country 3,000 m. Once the trophy is spotted you complete your stalk on foot. Physical condition is an important factor for stalking during the hunt. Long range shooting, up to 300 m is normal.
